About

I’m a Senior Software Development Engineer and machine learning systems architect with over 15 years building production-scale data and AI platforms at Amazon, AWS, and Capital One.

My work sits at the intersection of machine learning and financial technology — designing systems that handle real-time transaction integrity, anomaly detection, and intelligent financial automation at enterprise scale. At Capital One, I architected the ML platform that protects millions of customers and billions of dollars in daily transactions. At AWS DataLab, I led complex data and ML engagements for enterprise customers across four countries. Today at Amazon Finance Automation, I lead development of AI systems that power financial workflows at a scale few organizations operate at.

I hold four granted U.S. patents as primary inventor, covering ML-based duplicate detection and financial data integrity — work that has been cited by Bank of America, Visa, Mastercard, Oracle, Intuit, and Dell Technologies. I’m a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS), a designation held by fewer than 1% of computing professionals worldwide. I review research for CVPR, ICLR, AAAI, IEEE, and ACM, and received an Outstanding Reviewer Award at CVPR.

I write and share here about machine learning systems, financial data engineering, and the practical realities of building AI at scale in regulated industries.
